Find & Vet ActivewearManufacturers in China
SEAMDANCE connects activewear brands with vetted partner facilities across China. Your collection, one team to manage it — sourcing, qualification, approvals and delivery for independent labels, retailers and growing brands.
Multi-category sourcing / 01
Any category. Any mix. One order. One partner.
Why it gets harder
Grow past a single category and sourcing turns into a second job — quotes from one factory, samples from another, every line on its own ship date, and you chasing all of them. SEAMDANCE takes that off your desk: each category is made by specialists in its own industry cluster, and the whole range comes back to you as a single managed order.

What we make / 02
Product families
Built as collections, not isolated styles. Every product can move from stock direction to full custom development.

Colour direction / SS26
This year’s colours
The palette leading activewear this season — from Pantone’s Cloud Dancer white to WGSN’s Transformative Teal, grounded earth tones and statement brights. Every shade is a live production colour, shown on real garments.
WGSN's 2026 Colour of the Year — a grounded blue-green for a season of change.
Four decisions / 03
Product feel, fit and finish—developed as a single system.
Hand feel + recovery
“Soft” and “supportive” mean nothing to a knitting machine. Your reference garment becomes weight, stretch, recovery and surface numbers a sample room can hit — and hit again on the reorder.
Movement before bulk
A measurement chart will not tell you the waistband rolls in a squat. Fit review runs the movements the garment will live in, checking hold, opacity, seam behavior and recovery before anything goes to bulk.
Seamless + cut and sew
Seamless is not automatically better — it is better for some styles and wrong for others. Each style is routed on support, styling, order quantity and target cost, so you are not paying for machinery your product does not need.
Color, logo + detail
This is where a collection stops looking like sampled product. Color, stitching, logo placement, labels and packaging lock into a single sealed standard — the document your reorder is measured against a year later.
Three ways in / 04
Choose by what you already have—not by what a factory wants to sell.
You have a logo.
→ Stock private label
The fastest zero-to-one: pick from 500 developed styles. Branding route, samples and a MOQ plan come back.
You have a tech pack — or just a reference.
→ Custom OEM / ODM
Your spec is reviewed and routed to the right construction. Development steps, a sample plan and a quotation come back.
You have a whole range in mind.
→ Managed multi-category
The easiest way to extend your range: each new category is mapped to its specialist, on a shared standard and calendar, consolidated into a single delivery.
More than a supplier
Not a buyer-seller relationship. A partner — from first sample to your next category.
Trend and colour direction, range planning and market feedback come with the team — not as extras. Final inspection stays buyer-side, AQL 2.5.

How real collections get managed.
Twenty honest case studies — first collections, fit rescues, color systems, delivery risk. Read all 20.
A first activewear collection, with no tech pack in sight
Verified outcome — Production-ready specification after 2 fit rounds and 1 color confirmation, 18 Mar–10 Jun 2025
Read the case 02Small first order — but it can't look like generic stock with a logo
“I can make less. I can't make something that has no identity of its own.”
Read the case 05Opaque on the table, transparent in a squat
Verified outcome — Light colorway kept its soft hand; “squat-proof” became a documented gate every next colorway must pass — 2 sample rounds
Read the case 16'All normal' for three weeks — until the launch date was already lost
“I can accept problems. I can't accept learning about them on the last day.”
Read the case 18Three product types, three specialist factories — one project to manage
Verified outcome — Launched as one commercial release: one consolidated shipment, 18 weeks, 2 warehouse arrivals
Read the case 19Every reorder of the bestseller needed re-explaining — because no product standard ever existed
“It's our best-selling product, and we don't own a single real document about it.”
Read the caseProduction is the baseline.
The team is the difference.

Construction and cost options — before you commit.
Can you develop Pilates clothing and athleisure collections?
Yes. Pilates sets, studio layers and athleisure collections can be developed around soft hand feel, four-way stretch, recovery, coverage and coordinated colors for studio, travel and everyday use.
How much does it cost to manufacture private label activewear?
Cost depends on the fabric, construction route (seamless or cut-and-sew), order quantity and finishing, so SEAMDANCE returns a full FOB quotation within 24 hours after reviewing your product. We quote a fair, real number rather than a headline price: an activewear FOB below roughly $3–$4 usually signals substandard fabric or corners cut on labour and QC, which you pay for later in returns.
Can you make seamless yoga leggings and seamless sports bras?
Yes. We can coordinate seamless development with production partners that map rib structures, compression, ventilation and support zones into leggings, sports bras, tops and sets. Cut-and-sew partners are selected when the design needs panels, bindings or specific seam placement.
Where is SEAMDANCE based and who do you work with?
SEAMDANCE is an export trading and supply chain management company based in Xiamen, China, founded in 2018. The managed network covers seamless knitting, cut-and-sew, dye houses, trims and fabric mills, and has by our own count delivered 5,000+ programs to buyers in more than 100 countries.
Do you charge for samples, and is the sample fee refundable?
A sample fee normally applies to cover material and development time. The exact fee, and whether it is credited against your first bulk order, are confirmed at quotation together with the sample lead time — 3–4 days for stock programs and about 7 days for a custom first sample.
